The component manufacturing plant in Nizna, Slovakia, was renamed at the end of 2021 to be even more closely affiliated with R+W, and as of 15 August 2022, an additional managing director was recruited to strengthen the operations.
Certain components for the precision couplings manufactured by German company, R+W, are supplied by the production plant in Slovakia. Over the course of strategic alignment, the production plant was completely affiliated with the R+W company by the end of 2021, and has since then been renamed R+W Slovakia k.s.
The advantages are obvious: important components to produce couplings in Wörth am Main can be obtained by the headquarters very quickly. Both locations can build and develop a common process, which is adapted for both sites, to ensure optimum utilization of production capabilities.
The factory in Nizna, Slovakia, which was founded in 2003 and now employs around 100 people, produces over 1,200,000 components per year.
Another positive development is the expansion of the management team. As of 15 August 2022, Michal Strelicka has joined the management team alongside Milan Letasi. Both will be responsible for the operational management and further development of the location. Many tasks are being driven forward in a focused manner, including the simultaneous expansion and renewal of machinery systems and consistent adaptation of all processes.
For R+W, both steps were essential and very important for the ongoing development of the company. The entire R+W team is looking forward to working more closely with the team in Slovakia.
